Recently The Crimson Muses have been collaborating with The Romany Theatre Company, intertwining our songs with 'Killimengro'; a theatre piece about the last Gypsies to be hanged in England for their way of life. Performing Romany Gypsy songs as an integral part of this powerful production has been a real privilege, particularly because the Romany Gypsies in England have mostly lost touch with this heritage as a result of their music being made illegal in the past along with their language, traditional clothes & dances.
